Mercurious.ai is Rob Abbey's AI consultancy. This page explains what information we collect when you visit or get in touch, why we collect it, and what we do with it. What we collect and why

When you visit the site

By default, we collect nothing personal. If you accept analytics cookies, we may collect anonymised data about how you use the site — pages visited, how you arrived, time spent. No names, no email addresses, nothing that identifies you. It just helps us understand what's useful and improve the site.

Your cookie choice (accepted or declined) is saved in your browser. It's a simple yes or no — not linked to any personal information.

When you get in touch

If you use the contact form or email us directly, we receive your name, email address, and your message. We use it to reply to you.

If you book a discovery call or enquire about our services, we may add you to our mailing list to keep you informed about AI insights and Mercurious.ai updates. We'll always tell you when we do this, and every email we send includes an unsubscribe link. We will never add you to a list without telling you first.

When you use the chatbot

If you chat with the assistant on the site, the conversation may be logged so Rob can review it and improve the service. If you share your name and email during the conversation, that information is stored securely. You'll always be asked before anything identifying you is saved, and you can say no.

Who we share your data with

Nobody commercially. We don't sell data. We don't share your details with marketing companies.

The only third parties involved are the tools that run the site:

How long we keep things

Cookies

A cookie is a small file stored in your browser. We use one to remember your privacy preference. If you accept analytics, a few more may be added to collect anonymous usage data. We don't use cookies to track you across other websites or build any kind of profile.
